Its time to renew your City of Ocala Business Tax Receipt, formerly known as an Occupational License. Per Chapter 62 of the City's Code of Ordinances and Florida State Statute 205, a tax receipt is due and payable annually. In an effort to streamline practices and afford you the best opportunity to renew your Business Tax Receipt, the City is providing you the following three options to submit payment:

1. Renew on-line by going to the City of Ocala's online payment portal at: https://growthmanagement.ocalafl.org :
   Select Business Tax Renewal and enter your:Renewal ID: T55551 ; then click Continue confirm your business infomation and enter payment details. You will be emailed a receipt upon successful payment.
2. Detach the bottom portion of this letter and mail it along with your payment in the pre-addressed envelope included with this letter. Your account will be updated and the new receipt will be mailed to you.
3. Come to the 'One-Stop Permit Center" at the Growth Management Department, located at the above address. Please bring this notification with you to assist in the issuance of your new receipt.

We encourage you to renew your receipt prior to September 30, so that no additional fees will be applied. Penalties accrue monthly with a 10% penalty fee Oct 1 and a 5% penalty fee Nov 1, Dec 1, and Jan 1. Receipts not renewed by January 31, 2021 will incur an additional 5125 penalty fee.
